Chopta
Chopta is one of the beautiful tourist hill destinations of Uttarakhand which provides picturesque views of Himalaya and wildlife. Chopta is situated in the altitude of 2500mts on the Gopeshwar – Ukhimath road about 40km from Gopeshwar. Chopta is well connected with road. One can enjoy pristine environment full of greenery, meadows and snow capped mountain in winter. Main attaraction of Chota are Tungnath temple (3500mt) which is 3.5km trek, Chandrashilla (4000mt) which is 5 km trek from Chopta and Kedarnath Musk deer sanctuary.
Accommodation is provided by GMVN tourist rest houses, there are also some other rest houses and hotel to stay there.
Nearest airports is in Jolly Grant Dehradun, Nearest Railhead is Haridwar.

I love Uttranchal Pradesh, I want to watch pictures / vedio of all worship places. I want to have BIG Photograph of Kedarnath temple with snowy mountains. I like to visit Uttranchal again and again. Myself and my family believed that Char Dham has become a part of our life We dream about it. We want watch to UP`s local TV channel and Live Telecast of Badari and Kedar Aarti /Sandhya.
