Famous For	Maha Rishi Ved Viyas wrote shri Mad Bhagwat Maha Puran at this spot. Adi Badri is also considered as emerging spot of Saraswati River. Recently a Shankh (Conch shell) is found which is said to be Panchajanya Shankh, which was blown by Lord Krishan found here.
Importance	It is believad that Lords Vishnu used to to live here in Satyug,Treta and Dwapar.In Kalyug he shifted to Badrinath.That is why it is known Ancient badri.
